I’m a programmer-analyst with a master’s degree in biostatistics, specializing in data science, statistical modeling, and programming in R and SAS. When naming my blog, I wanted something that reflected both my love of math and my favorite fruit—so I chose “persimetria,” which fuses persicum (Latin for peach) with metria (measurement).
In my free time, I like to learn new things, meditate, read, write, analyze sports data, study African history, photography, make art, and tend to my indoor garden. I’m also exploring Python to expand my statistical skillset, all in the hope of making a meaningful impact on public health—locally and globally.
